Taken on a walk through my local park, with gorgeous late-afternoon sunlight saturating everything in yellow light. Mild vignette, curves adjust and sharpening added.

Ship on a Pastel Background

Taken on a recent trip to Swanage. The sky wasn't quite this dramatic on the day, but I could see in my head how it could look with a little Curves tweaking as I lined up the shot and waited patiently for the ship to sail slowly into frame.

I'm back after another lengthy hiatus! All my creative energies have been poured into another project, Drive Cult, and that left little time for this little site. However, thanks to a number of friends and family picking up their cameras and producing some lovely work recently, I've been inspired to make time for this little corner of the web again. So, as I am wont to do, I'm posting a shot of a rose from my garden.

A light frosting of snow on a ploughed field. A colour shot that was converted to black and white, simply because it just seemed to work better without the slight daylight colour cast. It almost looks like an infrared photo now.

This was shot through a small gap in the safety fencing. Much though I love modern safety standards for motorsport, they're a photographer's nightmare unless you have accreditation...

This was my best shot from the race, and I knew it as soon as I saw it on the back of the Canon. I judged the flash power just right here, but couldn't seem to repeat it for any of the other shots I tried.
